Join us for this welcoming drawing session with guest tutor Fliss Watts to explore different approaches to drawing portraits from life. There will be options of using mirrors to draw self-portraits as well as props to observe such as a portrait bust and a skull. Fliss will offer advice, techniques and approaches to drawing portraits.
This session is led by Fliss Watts, a talented artist who frequents the studio to use the printing press. We did an interview with Fliss recently which you can read here. Follow Fliss’ on instragram at @flisswatts.

What to bring with you
We will provide all the materials for the session including paper and drawing mediums but feel free to bring your own materials to experiment with!
Cancellation Policy
We do not provide refunds or credit notes for missed evening drawing sessions.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a workshop. If we do this we will try and give a weeks notice and will provide a full refund if you cannot attend the new dates.
Please note: The print studio has limited access and etching involves using hazardous chemicals. The print room environment is not suitable for everyone. Etching classes are unsuitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those sensitive to chemicals or with breathing difficulties. Contact us if you need more information about the chemicals we use as part of the printing process.
