Winter Tasters: Linoprinting - 12th February

£35.00

Evening Course, Wednesday 12th February, 18:00-20:30, £35 each or £95 for all three, All levels

For participants to gain a basic understanding and practical knowledge of how to design, carve and print a lino print.

This course can be booked individually or as part of the full Winter Tasters Series. On the 5th February we will explore Collographs and on the 19th February we will dip our toes into the world of Intaglio printing (etching, dry point- don’t know what these are? Come along and find out!) . Each class is £35 each or £95 for all three. Book all three classes here.

We will provide all the materials for the day including a lino block, tools for cutting, ink and paper.

What to bring with you

Clothes you don’t mind getting ink on. Although we will be using water based inks and we have aprons, it’s best to wear clothes that are not precious.

Ideas - Please bring with you an image or art work you would like to use as inspiration or to transfer to your lino block. The size of the blocks we will be using will be approx 10 x 15cm. If you don’t bring an idea or inspiration for your print don’t worry because we have lots of inspirational books and ideas we use as tools for developing an image. But as we have a lot to fit in on the day, it can help to bring along a pre conceived image to make into a print.

Feel free to bring snacks! Tea and coffee provided.

What you’ll leave with at the end of the day

Edition(s) of your print
