Winter Tasters: Collograph - 5th February
Evening Course, Wednesday 5th February 18:00-20:30, £35 each or £95 for all three, All levels
In this workshop we will learn to print from found materials with interesting surfaces and textures such as plants, fabrics and recycled rubbish. A collograph is a print taken directly from these materials to create diverse, textural images.
All materials will be provided but it would be great if you could collect some materials with interesting surfaces such as leaves, recycled rubbish or fabrics that we can print from. We will, however, have lots available for those who don’t have time to bring their own materials.
We will print using the press as well as using alternative methods of printing that can be used at home too.
This course can be booked individually or as part of the full Winter Tasters Series. On the 12th February we will be printing from Lino and on the 19th February we will dip our toes into the world of Intaglio printing (etching, dry point- don’t know what these are? Come along and find out!). Each class is £35 each or £95 for all three. Book all three classes here.
