Linocut Reduction Printing - Saturday 17th May 2025

£75.00

1 Day Course, Saturday 17th May 10:00-16:00, £75, Intermediate and Advanced

For participants to explore the reduction printing method where multi-coloured prints can be achieved by a combination of printing and subsequent cutting away of the lino block.

If you’re a beginner please join us for one of our Intro to Lino full day courses before booking this workshop.

We will provide all the materials for the day, including a linoblock, tools for cutting, ink and paper.

What to bring with you

Clothes you don’t mind getting ink on. Although we will be using water based inks and we have aprons, it’s best to wear clothes that are not precious.

Ideas - Please bring with you an image or art work you would like to use as inspiration or to transfer to your copper printing plate. If you don’t bring an idea or inspiration for your print don’t worry because we have lots of inspirational books and ideas we use as tools for developing an image. But as we have a lot to fit in on the day, it can help to bring along a pre conceived image to make into a print.

Packed lunch - Tea and coffee is provided. Bring your own packed lunch or eat at one of the independent local cafes and bakeries.

What you’ll leave with at the end of the day

Edition(s) of your print
