Printing a Lake District Postcard - Saturday 16th August 2025
½ day workshop, Saturday 16th August, 13:00-16:30, £45, Suitable for all levels

For participants to learn how to make and print their own Lake District inspired postcard. We will look at the graphic quality of lino printing and how that lends itself to postcard design. You will create and leave with an edition of handmade postcards, learn basic lino cutting skills and look at examples of what makes a successful composition.
We will supply all materials for the day (card stock, inks, linoblock, tools)

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a workshop. This will occasionally happen if we don’t have enough bookings to run the workshop or in extenuating circumstances. If we do this we will try and give as much notice as possible and will provide a full refund if you cannot attend the new dates.
Please note: The print studio has limited access and etching involves using hazardous chemicals. The print room environment is not suitable for everyone. Etching classes are unsuitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those sensitive to chemicals or with breathing difficulties. Contact us if you need more information about the chemicals we use as part of the printing process.
