One to One Portfolio Development Sessions

£150.00

Aimed at anyone who wants to create a portfolio of artwork for art school, university or a job application. These are one on one sessions where we can discuss the works in the portfolio, building on our experience of art school, teaching and life as professional artists. We can also help to facilitate new works being created using printmaking or other mediums to create a more varied, creative and eye catching portfolio.

6 hours spread over a time frame that suits both artist and Jack/Emily, £150, suitable for all levels

Please email us about arranging dates.

What to bring with you

  • Portfolio or recent works

  • Application you’re working towards (job application, university guidelines)

  • Clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on. Although we will be using water based inks and we have aprons, it’s best to wear clothes that are not precious

  • Packed lunch - Tea and coffee is provided. Bring your own packed lunch or eat at one of the independent local cafes and bakeries

What you’ll leave with at the end of the day

  • New works to include in your portfolio

  • Hopefully, a sense of clarity and direction for your portfolio,

  • Notes and reflections that can often only be reached through peer mentoring and discussion

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking more than 3 weeks in advance we will provide a refund but it would be much better for our small business if you transfer your booking or accept a credit note. To cancel or transfer please email us at marketplaceprintstudio@gmail.com.

If you need to cancel your booking less that 3 weeks in advance we can only refund or transfer your booking in extenuating circumstances. Email us at marketplaceprintstudio@gmail.com to have a discussion about cancelling due to changes of plan out of your control.

If you let us know the day before or on the day of your booking that you can’t make it due to sickness or unexpected circumstances we can provide a credit note only or someone else can come in your place. Just drop us an email to let us know so we can update the booking information.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a workshop. If we do this we will try and give a weeks notice and will provide a full refund if you cannot attend the new dates.

Please note: The print studio has limited access and etching involves using hazardous chemicals. The print room environment is not suitable for everyone. Etching classes are unsuitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women, those sensitive to chemicals or with breathing difficulties. Contact us if you need more information about the chemicals we use as part of the printing process.
