Evening Introduction to Lino - Wednesday 25th March 2026

In this class we will carve lino blocks using templates. This is a great class for absolute beginners wanting to spend the evening learning the very basics of relief printing including how to transfer the template to the block, how to use the carving tools to create different marks and using the printing press.
We will provide all the materials including a lino block, tools for cutting, ink and paper.
What to bring with you
Clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on. Although we will be using water based inks and we have aprons, it’s best to wear clothes that are not precious.
Feel free to bring snacks! Tea and coffee provided.
What you’ll leave with at the end of the day
Your own stamp(s) and some prints of your design
